Morrisons - Aberdeenshire

I recently ordered a home delivery from this restaurant for some basic supplies, and I was very disappointed with the quality of the ready meals provided. Each meal cost over 4 pounds and was far from worth it. The balti dish tasted like spiced gravy with chicken, while the beef stroganoff had stringy beef in a vinegar-flavored gravy that was so unpleasant, I had to throw it out. The banoffee pie I ordered was soaked in a thick, chemical-tasting caramel syrup with hardly any banana flavor, so I also had to discard that due to its overpowering sweetness. To make matters worse, the fresh vegetables I purchased were already past their expiration date the next day. This place does not offer quality food at all, and the prices are outrageous.

I visited the car wash yesterday and noticed that the brushes did not fully clean the rear of my vehicle, leaving the center section and number plate dirty. I mentioned this to a male staff member, who told me that they were aware of the issue but the owner was not interested in fixing it. I asked him to inform them again, but he was not interested. Despite paying for the gold wash at £6.99, it was a waste of money as the rear was still dirty when I got home and the door sills had not been cleaned properly either.

The Morrisons cafe has a reputation for constantly running out of ingredients, making it difficult to order your desired meal. In fact, they even ran out of Christmas dinners before midday once. While the staff is friendly, many customers have opted to avoid the cafe altogether due to this ongoing issue.

Haven’t been in there for a while due to restrictions but had to be in Banchory for other reasons and did our shopping whilst in the town. We were impressed with range of stock for a smallish store, got everything we had on list plus a lot more! The prices are excellent as well. Another thing that has always impressed us about Morrison’s is how friendly the staff are, when we lived down south the same. Well done Morrison’s!
