Hook, Line And Sinker - Aberdeenshire

Great fish suppers from Hook line and sinker last night. Even better eating them down at Portsoy beach. What more could you ask for. Excellent, nicely cooked and well worth a visit for one of the best fish and chips taken away in the North East of Scotland..

Such a great fish chip shop, food was delicious reasonably priced. Great service friendly staff, would highly recommend. Stopped in past on our way to Inverness even stopped in on our way back home, 5star food service!

Approaching 5p.m., the shop was very busy, but the staff seemed to have a very good system in place . The fish was very fresh with crisp batter. The chips were also very good. No sign of the ‘grease’ mentioned in another review. And I don’t understand people saying it’s expensive. The fish is the freshest haddock, not the cod you get in Englandshire.

Excellent food service was very good. Found the food fresh tasty. Best fish we have had to date.
