We recently had the best fish and chips we've had in a long time at this restaurant. The batter was crispy, the food was hot, and the delivery was quick. My husband also enjoyed his steak pie and white pudding.

Just had their fish and chips, I have to review this disgusting mess I was just served up, the fish in batter was saturated in oil, the fish itself was I believe was old frozen, poorly prepared. The chips were edible, just paid 7.70 for this mostly inedible mess.

Excellent food, piping hot, good service and quick delivery, have used them many thinks never had any problems, would definitely recommend

I had ordered online then turned up for my fish, chips and white pudding. On arrival I walked in and noticed that the place is not clean at all. The work surfaces and floor were so dirty it was unbelievable. The owner I think, walked in and went to wash his hands but didn't have a towel to dry his hands, so he wiped his wet hands on his jacket sleeves. He then began packaging up food orders and was picking the cooked food up with his bare hands. When I saw this, it was the final straw, bearing in mind we are presently battling the Coronavirus pandemic. I therefore said cancel my order, and requested my money back. The girl said my order was ready. I therefore said forget it and walked out! I'd rather not touch the money and risk covid19. There were young kids playing behind in the food prep area also! I will definitely not be returning to this takeaway and would recommend avoiding at all costs!
