Ninety-nine - Aberdeen

Mya our server was fantastic, drinks and specialty cocktails were excellent. Venue is cozy .Super excited about the local sourcing for food and drinks , but the pizza was disappointing and just didn't hit the mark .

The cocktails here are delicious and unique, but the food was just okay. The bao buns were fantastic, but the rest of the dishes were lackluster. The cucumber salad was incredibly spicy, while the chicken gyoza was decent and the edamame with soy glaze also had a bit of heat. Everything seemed to be smothered in sesame seeds, which overshadowed the main flavors of the dishes. Additionally, it took nearly 30 minutes for the hostess/server to take our drink order, and we never received the water we requested multiple times. This is a good spot for cocktails, but I wouldn't recommend it for the food.

We have been in the city trying out various places for a few days now. Everything here was spot on. Great service, crafty cocktails and the food was great (for British food). The atmosphere was perfect as well. I am here for a few days still and plan to come back for lunch and another night of drinks. Definitely an Aberdeen staple.

This restaurant is fantastic! I visited for a late lunch and found it to be quite peaceful, yet it had a really nice atmosphere. There was definitely a great selection of dishes to choose from. I ordered the steak frites, and while the green beans were a bit bland, I was more focused on the frites, which were salty, crunchy, and absolutely perfect. The fried pickles were amazing as well. I only wish we could have stayed for dessert. To top it all off, our waiter was wonderful—funny and very helpful with menu suggestions and local tips for our tourist visit.

OK yeah the pubs are OK, but sometimes you miss home and the European style of doing things... and the only place in the whole Aberdeen that really reminds you of Europe is Bar 99!! Good atmosphere, good and qualitative drinks, make it a good place to start your night and finish it... Tip: A bit slow on the bar that is always busy, so please be patient, the people behind the bar are doing their best to serve everyone :
