Bidrage med feedbackDo not use this bakery for a wedding cake. Our cake was delicious, but the communication leading up to our wedding was completely lacking. The owner said she couldn 't move the process forward without us coming in, so we had to stop on our wedding weekend on our way to Seabrook to 'place ' the order we had already been emailing about. Then, the person working couldn 't take payment. I followed up on email, and was told I could pay with Apple pay or over the phone. I asked for an Apple pay request to be sent. I never received a payment request, so I called the next day to find out how to pay. I never heard back. The next day was my wedding. I got 2 hours of sleep and was emailing the owner at 4 am trying to figure out if a cake was coming our not. My best friend had her husband stop on his way to the wedding and got cupcakes so we had dessert. The cake ended up showing up. It was delicious. I was called and reached out to multiple times in the 2 days after my wedding with the owner looking for payment. Geesh! You can 't get back to me as I 'm trying to plan my wedding and then you drop a cake off and want me to step away from my event, friends and family to pay you? This was the ultimate low light from our wedding. It was incredibly stressful working with the owner. : Hopefully reading this post will spark the owner to either say no to weddings or change her process to no one else has to go through what I went through.
Always have a excuse for a bakery with nothing to sell. They are always conventlly fresh out. Last time out of almond flour, are you a bakery ? Not solace I will go back.
Amazing service as always! Their buttercream and caramel remain amongst my favorite things in life. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a little joy in their soul.
I was in a March to help Aberdeen introduce the presiding Bishop, u know the guy that did the Royal wedding. We received so much hate from people in town, but cake cakes donated free cupcakes to the bishop as well as some friends n I that stuck around to hear from them. Their cupcakes were great and they r very friendly people. Absolutely love these people for the compassion they show. Thank you cake cakes.
They weren't open during their posted hours (both online and on their door). There was no sign or explanation, the lights were off and a kid was playing in the window; I'm assuming they were baking in the back, but who knows. If you're not actually open for business during your business hours, then they aren't your business hours. If you're only open to consultations or something, post that on your door.
