Underside - Abbottstown

Our first visit tonight and we highly recommend. We rented a room at the Altland house above the bar and it is beautiful. Then we had a terrific dinner at the brewery. The tuna nachos, Mediterranean bowl and prime rib were fantastic. Also, we loved the live music. A young duo named Blank Page killed it and made the whole atmosphere perfect. We will definitely come back to see them and have a lovely dinner again. Thank you for the hospitality.

We stopped in on our way home to grab a beer and a bite. The beer selection was very diverse for a smaller brewery. All of us were able to find something we each enjoy. The people who were working were very good they all were very friendly which added to the experience . The bartender was very quick and friendly, with having to sever the patrons at the bar and making drinks for the rest of the restaurant, she handled it all very well. We only ordered appetizer and they were excellent. We will be coming back in the near future.

We did not enjoy our experience here. We are offended by nonchalant servers who flaunt dreadlocks and multiple piercings. Barring that, the food was lackluster...and the coconut in the stout was too weird. For the price, we expected more creativity and quality.

Stopped in for burgers because the Rocks was closed and we were hungry. Their special was the Smash burger on briosh bun, So the 3 of us all ordered a variation of the burger. Well when it came out, the burger looked like it was all but 3 ounces if that. The bun looked like a regular burger bun that was buttered and grilled. But wait it took nearly 25 minutes for it to come out. That is unacceptable. Our waiter/bartender must of apologized 3 or 4 time saying your food is coming. It will be a long time till we go back

Overall I was disappointed in my order. The soup didn't have the flavor that I was expecting.(turtle soup)The cheese burger quesadilla was very dry and a little over cooked on the inside. What was eatable had a nice flavor. The service was good.... With no complaints.I enjoyed the white chocolate mousse. I might be back. But it is no rush.
