Nikko Japanese Restaurant - Abbotsford

The sushi here at Nikko is always fresh and tasty. You have convenient ways to order online, and take an explicit way. They are creative in what they offer and we have never been disappointed. Abby has a lot of sushi restaurants,... bang for the Buck, this is the top of the list!

I recently visited Nikko after reading reviews online. I decided to try their salmon sashimi on rice and enjoyed it. Although I felt that the portion size for $18 was a bit small, the fish was fresh and tasty. Overall, I had a good experience at Nikko.

Beautiful little Japanese restaurant, friendly and happy staff, with great portions and taste amazing! Will go back to Abby next time!

We have dined in this restaurant several times in the past, and in this time the food and service was excellent. There is a previous review that I wrote this time: Not so much. It was a Saturday night and we arrived at 5:30... We immediately got a table, but it immediately filled my wife ordered BulGoGi, a Korean dish. That was pretty weird with salad in it! I've never seen that before! I ordered some Gyoza dumplings prepared by panfries. Bad overcooked and leathery, no joy. I also ordered a combination of 3 reels and sorted veggy tempura. The rollers were approx. 5 minutes later and served the tempura medium meal. The tempura consisted of slices of potato and sweet potatoes. Nothing green, basically a dish of potato cut frit. How sad and greasy. Not light and delicate tempura due to a lot of imagination. The rolls were good for taste and ingredients, although they were surrounded by too much rice. So much so in a case that the slices were so big that it was impossible to handle hacksticks without falling apart. Not impressed. I took leftovers home, but we didn't eat them and my wife threw them the next night.

This small hidden treasure serves excellent sushi in a city known for its high-quality sushi. My personal favorite on the menu is the Korean Chirashi Don, which is filled with fresh, top-notch sashimi, plenty of vegetables, sushi rice, and the famous red sauce. Absolutely fantastic!
