Pizzeria La Finestra - Aachen

I don't want to write a review. We like this place. We have been going here since 1995. It is great. I am biased. We no longer live in Aachen but when we come to the old continent we come back to La Finestra. Spaghetti...alla finestra. Atmosphere is great inside and out. Service is quick, be warned that some staff have personality. Even my kids still know their names. So please, this is our restaurant, I am not supposed to share.

The pizzeria is in a nice location, along a way with many other restaurants and pubs/bars. The pizza is good, with quite a few choices in the menu. I really appreciated the taverna-style, with red-brick walls and soft lights.

I was there recently with few friends and found the restaurant likeable. The ambience is very suitable for italian food as the sitting is in a stone walled cellar. The menu is with several options. The area is also interesting with many other bars/restaurants around...and also possibilities to park your car around easily. I would wish if they had the option to have Mozarella instead of normal Käse, preferably Buffala M. (this I can imagine would be a hit ! . Somehow I find unlike real italian places back in italy doing few but perfect variations of pizza here in Deutschland we have always several pizza options but maybe less is more !

Very good pizzas. Spaghetti matriciana is not on the menu but they can make it, totally worth it! Very good service as well, will go there again soon.

Search something else. We ordered scampi,very low quality as the steaks too.not suggested at all. The service was otherwise really nice and funny!
