My partner and I had a mixed experience at this Italian restaurant. Hi enjoyed a well cooked fish dish but my partner had a problem with his spaghetti vongole. He found that many of the clams were mushy. The service was good we would try again but perhaps another dish.
Very limited set menu offered, food was ok but not super! Restaurant was clean and service was good.
So, Italian..., this place has been up for 55 years, the menu (prints) are also this old, upgrading is not a bad idea if you want me to be interested in what you offer. That is why I placed the menu aside and let the experts provide their best food, so far the antipasti made it but the lasagna I got after it had no flavor, home made they claim it to be, but it was meaningless and lava hot, the service is good, there were only 3 tables so yhea, a lot of enfasis on you..wonder what it would be if it's full, maybe 25 years ago it was... The owner himself (chef I guess) takes part of some cooking very close to the center tables, you get to witness the cooking and smells from different ingredients he uses, this is very original. This place has much to offer but they seem to be comfortable with their business that they don't care about what people say, at least that's how I see it, it was my idea to turn on some Italian music to make it more pleasant, the awkward silence was dangerous as it wispered me to leave.
Ho mangiato delle lumache buonissime. Il proprietario, di origine sarda, è stato conferito del titolo Cavaliere del Lavoro. Un motivo ci sarà. La pizza lascia molto a desiderare, ma tutto il resto no.
