The Krug Room - 香港

One of my favorite bars throughout the world. I have many happy memories of eating and drinking at this place from my time in hongkong in the 1990s. Always stop drinking when I'm in town. it has a wonderful, peaceful, quiet, submissive, elegant ambiente most times of the day) no I am sure that it will be a little loud on a Friday and Saturday evening when the memory serves. First class service as they would expect on the mandarin oriental.

Classical and classy as always. Curries for lunch always a winner.

This is one of the best pubs in Hong Kong. Food is pretty good here. It has a daily roast menu, which is excellent. The curries are also very good. Service is first class. However, no reservations, so need to get there early for good seats. Not a big place, so not ideal for large group.

You want PRIME RIB? well this place serve secret menu of prime rib (550 hkd) which is prepared by adjacent Mandarin Grill and if you were to eat at the grill can cost 2 to 3 times as much. its not on menu you have to ask for it and not always there. i been there many times but always only had rib. reservation is a must as it is always full by reserved ppl... as per other restaurent at Mandarin Oriental it attracts the very upper social echelon of HK society with very sophisticated ambience, there is something about Mandarin that attract the old rich elites of hk as the newer fast money rich prefer Ritz and Four seasons. ideal for solo dinner

The food quality are ok but service can be improved. we have ordered a few dishes to share. with the current covid19 situation, I would appreciate if they divide the dishes for us, or ask if we would like to have this service. no reservations thus recommend to go early. we arrived before 12noon and only bar area available
