Bǎi Wū Shí Táng - 本宮市

I tried the ramen set. The sauce on the sauce katsu don was sweet and light. The katsu had a refreshing impression without the greasiness of the frying oil. I think it's different from Nagano's sauce katsu. Although it was listed as a mini bowl, the amount of rice was roughly around 300g, so I was quite full. The soy sauce ramen was like the ramen you'd find at an old-fashioned diner, but it had a gentle and delicious taste. I don't think it would be suitable for those who prefer strong flavors.

It's been 2 years since my last visit. Well, it was really crowded at lunchtime because it's famous and delicious, so I had to come to eat! Definitely a must-try!! That's why you can see license plates from other prefectures here and there...lol. Right now, it's a bit chaotic so we're eating quietly, so please understand... The parking lot is on both sides of the restaurant, which is convenient. This time, I tried the famous Jo-naname sauce katsudon, with its thin batter soaked in a sweet and salty sauce that spreads the savory juices throughout your mouth, making you feel blissful. The thickness of the meat is incredible, so you'll feel full quickly, making it unsuitable for small children. But maybe the mini fillet would be okay.

The Tonkatsu (pork cutlet) set with one fillet cutlet and two loin cutlets was delicious, but the sauce was a bit too heavy, making the rice salty. The simmered cutlet bowl was fantastic with a generous portion and delicious taste. The ramen set salad was also voluminous and looked very delicious.

休日のお昼時で大繁盛しており、ひっきり無しにお客さんが来店しています。 駐車場はお店の両側にあり、キャパがあるので助かります。 この日は上名代ソースカツ丼を頂きました。柔らかく油のしつこさが少ない薄衣のかつです。甘じょっぱいソースが衣に染み込み、絶妙のハーモニー。ただ、食べ進めると少々くどくなり、肉厚が凄くてすぐにお腹いっぱいになります。もうちょっとキャベツが欲しいと思いました。上名代は若い方や大食感向きですね。 総じて大満足なカツ丼でした。

流石の人気店です。11時半に行きましたが、既に待ちの状態でひっきりなしに来店されます。今回は名代ソースかつ丼を頂きました。柔らかく油のしつこさも無いロースかつでとても美味しかったです。毎週水曜日は920円が850円になるそうで、何も知らずに水曜日に来た自分は得した気分でした。 また食べに伺います。
