ウエストハウス Shén Lì Diàn

First visit to this restaurant. It caught my attention because it's not in Chiba.

Please take my personal opinions with a grain of salt and try the food for yourself to see if it suits your taste. I don't have Western food for dinner very often, but I have visited this restaurant for lunch a few times. They offer pasta, pizza, and other Western-style dishes on the menu. I remember some dishes being quite large, I wish they had a normal size option. I'm not a family so I hope they offer more choices in portion sizes. The omelette rice here is certain type, and the pizza comes in large size. It's a bit heavy for dinner, especially if you have cake afterwards. The omelette rice has a mature flavor, and the wine-infused chicken rice has a hint of sweetness with just the right amount of saltiness. Western food has a gentler flavor compared to Japanese food. The salad dressing is original and has a curry-like taste. They take proper infection control measures, and the tableware is considerately provided. It's become one of my favorites. I recommend you come and try it for yourself.

Visited West House, a long-established Western-style restaurant, for lunch with friends and my sister in August 2016. It has a homely feel like a local family restaurant, but the portions are huge. We ordered the Avocado Cheese Burger and a seasonal Peach Parfait. The Avocado Cheese Burger was massive, and the Parfait was also very generous in size, with a whole peach and plenty of ice cream. The taste was decent, but the portions were so big that I found it overwhelming. This restaurant is definitely for those who are looking for large portions. As we were leaving, we saw the panda at the entrance looking exhausted.
