Bidrage med feedbackI visited a café. The interior, renovated from an old folk house, had a calm atmosphere with soothing music playing. The staff were kind and provided excellent service. I enjoyed a dessert of white bean and tofu ice cream zenzai affogato with coffee. The tofu ice cream was refreshing with a subtle sweetness. I also purchased some delicious looking pastries displayed in the showcase. The staff recommended a new item, the "Yame tea sandwich," which was a luxurious treat with a rich chocolate filling of Yame tea with just the right amount of bitterness. They mentioned using natural and organic ingredients, local produce, and rice, which not only are good for the body but also creates a gentle atmosphere in the shop. There was a back room with a light Willow Temple Buddhist altar, which I was guided to and greeted before leaving. I look forward to trying their lunch next time. Note: SoftBank reception was poor along the way to the café, but the staff kindly provided the WiFi password once inside.
Located in a remote old village in the mountains of Kikuchi, this cafe is accessible via Google Maps. Although I couldn't find the temple, the interior is a peaceful blend of Japanese, Western, and Buddhist elements. The plant-based burger was satisfying and delicious! It's a great place to relax and they also sell cakes and cookies.
Located a short distance into the mountains from Kikuchi Shrine, this cafe sits along a small, clear stream. The creative dishes made from organic ingredients bring out the natural flavors and will make you feel cozy. Participate in the monthly sutra chanting event and get a discount on your meal. Spend your weekend away from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy a refreshing time on the terrace under the gentle sunlight. Highly recommended! ´・ω・`)b
お寺というより古民家風で、精進料理が中心の身体に優しい料理です。 車麩の揚物が美味しかったです。
