Bidrage med feedbackThis quaint soba restaurant, renovated from an old folk house, has a charming atmosphere. The soba noodles are delicious. Although the parking lot and inside the restaurant are small, I believe it's worth a visit at least once.
I visited for lunch at a restaurant with a traditional Japanese house interior and stylish raised seating areas. It reminded me of my grandparents' home in my hometown. I tried their specialty dish, "waridashi imokake soba". The soba was pleasantly cold with a good texture, and the rich, sweet soy sauce broth had a great flavor. It was undeniably delicious. The surprise at the end was the "sobayu" (soba broth). It was incredibly rich and soothing, enveloping me from my stomach to my heart with its gentle fragrance. The depth of flavor and richness, similar to a potage soup, is hard to find at other soba restaurants. This place is definitely a top recommendation for soba restaurants.
It is said that this area used to be a red-light district in the past. Perhaps because of that, this building and its fittings are a unique old folk house with black and red tones, still exuding an atmosphere that makes you feel like you could slide open the fusuma doors and see courtesans and maidservants coming out.
