Bidrage med feedbackShabby Shabby is a chic and sophisticated all-day dining restaurant, which offers revolutionary signature cuisine. With its privilege location in one of the favorite neighborhoods in Guadalajara (Chapalita), Its mouth-watering menus made for the different times of day, its exemplary and vibrant ambience, its private events approach, and as well as its attentive and friendly staff; there is no reason why Shabby Shabby should not be a place worth visiting… Cosy by day and lively by night. Shabby Shabby is undoubtedly great for a relaxed meal at any time of the day whether it may be breakfast/lunch/dinner with friends, colleagues or for a lovely mom daughter date. The moderate lighting from the entrance allows contrasting ambiences during the day and night. If you are planning to go with your better half, I recommend you the “Sax” nights and after enjoying your dinner, unwind with one of the Shabby Shabby unique cocktails creations. Interior: The restaurant possesses light color and arty décor, which reflects the ¨cottage chic¨ classic French touch. The vast amount of flowers across the setting complements its fresh foods. Shabby chic also has a contemporary twist due to its chic lighting, the wide greenery lush wall and mirrors across the restaurant. The restaurant can also be booked for private parties like birthdays, baby showers, and of course romantic dinners. Shabby chic also boasts an in store market, and from time to time there are also seasonal markets were all specialties sold are locally handmade.
This petit restaurant is full of surprises... The ambience, the little rooms, and gardens...the food is quite good and the service is excellent... Shabby Shabby gives you a feeling of tranquility, it is located in trendy neoghborhood Chapalita... I strongly recommend going for a short walk just before sunset and arriving to Shabby Shabby at that hour in the middle of the afternoon and the night.
Just down the street from many restaurants in this area known as Colonia Chapalita, in Guadalajara, not Zapopin, and very close to our accommodations is a cute restaurant that was chosen for us by our great hosts. Lots of fascinating beverages to start with, followed by everything from traditional Mexican to eggs benedict! Another great meal in this very exciting city that quite franky was a bit afraid to visit from the bad press of cartel attrocities! I guess we all have to work, eh?We all had great meals, good service and felt as safe as if we were at home! Highly reccommended!
Not too shabby as the expression says, shabby chic themed little place. Pity more so much effort has been poured into the über chaby decor than into the menu.. cause on the food options nothing exciting or original of the tasted dishes were executed with any stroke of genius.. so overall bland result but having said that the check was tame so the disappointment stays tame. I doubt this place would be a top list on anyone’s brunch choice, but hey it’s aa average place. Pet-peeves: fresh bread, fail.
I have visited this restaurant in two occasions, one for breakfast and the other one to attend a baby shower. My first impression of the place was pleasant: a mixed decoration with vintage domination. In my first visit, the service and meal were OK (average), so I was not impressed at all. My second visit to this place was indeed a total disappointment, I attended a baby shower of an old friend of mine and this is a summary of what happened: Service: Poor and a bit dishonest. First of all, my friend rented a small room in the backyard of the place and without any notice, the host decided to rent it to another person and make my friend use the front yard. Now, at the day of the event, the waiters (only 2 3 for more than 50 persons) did not service equally thorough the tables, some guests were left without beverages while others received two or more of them. Meals: Poor. The offered meal was served cold and, since I had already visited the place before this event, I knew it would not be delicious or the like. Could you imagine eating cold scramble eggs? Some last words of advice for this place: Simply avoid it, I believe there are far better places for having breakfast or lunch than this one.
