Grill Courtepaille - Yvetot

This is a very convenient restaurant if you are staying at the B and B hotel next door. Nice welcome and menu in English, handy if you're not comfortable with French. The manager however also speaks fluent English. We took his recommendation and had the smoked lamb, it was delicious!. We started with pork rillettes served with toasted french bread. Lovely. My husband finished with an ice cream, served in a dish the size of a small washing up bowl!!!! Coupled with the 15% discount from the B and B made for a good meal. The fact that the restaurant filled up very quickly with local families spoke volumes.

Just had a good meal here (Fish and Frites, with creme brûlée and Heineken. I managed to knock over about 1/4 glass of beer (saved most of it! , and the staff were quickly on the scene to mop it up without fuss. Quick and friendly service.

Food is good, not haute cuisine but good. Staff friendly and efficient. Would recommend to anybody passing through Yvetot.

Overall, the restaurant deserves its rating, the meat was good, with a good texture, can be a little more cooked than ask but it's not too disturbing. Few customers in the restaurant's enclosure, probably due to the cold that is not very pleasant to eat. Despite everything we had a good waitress, very smiling and nice, with luck if we take the other reviews into account. Not sure to come back yet, but if you eat it, you come out filled, or pleasant if we are looking for calm.

We have lunch this noon in your hotel, everything was perfect, good value, I highly recommend it.
