Bidrage med feedbackRestaurant is located in a Super cute area! The food was delicious and the drinks were just as good. They had many gluten-free options, which is always a win for me.
The Birria tacos were unseasoned and flavorless, stuffed with uncooked, raw onions; and the tortillas were soggy, broken, and not crisp whatsoever. If you go here, it is for the wonderful service and nice atmosphere. My suggestion would be to treat it like an overpriced dive bar and stick to getting a traditional cheeseburger, if any food at all.
Issue with our food but manager resolved it quickly and was very apologetic and accommodating. Can’t say the same with our waiter. Chuck was more concerned with the sports on tv, neglecting his tables and talking to his coworkers. Every other person on staff were wonderful. Chuck should find a different line of work and/or stay home on days he decides to be a clueless idiot with an attitude.
Had not been to Alchemist in a while, so we decided on a Saturday night to give it a try again. Walked up about 7.30p after the Kentucky Derby, a little surprised to see all the open tables … only to find out once we received our burgers. I have had better burgers in airport terminals. I ordered mine Medium and it was barely Rare when I received it. Sad, simply because I recall this being a staple of Princeton. As we walked out, totally un-pleased … we openly discussed, “do they think we are still in the middle of the pandemic?’ Service was minimal and food was poor to terrible.
We waited a long time for a table. And they already sat down. But then we were told that dogs are not allowed. Although it was a small Chihuahua. In other places you can bring a dog. Especially on the terrace
