Bidrage med feedbackI'm all on board the grill in the hill train justin and team are fantastic. I took care of myself and the rest of the bachelor party I was with. space could not be clean and really appreciated the simple menu. I wish they had lobster mac and bee, but justin wanted to run it from anthony to see if they could add it in the future.
GM/Bartender Justin took care of me and the family. Great menu, very tight. Served us his specialty cocktail Momma Gs Cream, an upscale White Russian. Highly recommend
I just moved to MA in October. I was out on the course with my son Gabe when a young man named Justin introduced himself to me. He invited me to a meal in the clubhouse and I graciously accepted. The food in this place is unmatched. Grilled to perfection I ordered brown meat with noodles and cream. They use Momma Geary’s local cream right here in MA. It’s rich, thick, and feels great going down your throat. The staff is charming and kind, unlike at Friendly’s Cafe, that roach infested place… Cannot recommend GOTH enough!!! I’m thankful for Justin’s guidance and leadership that he displays on a daily basis
Excellent chicken marsala. Rating would have been a 5 but my dinner companion ordered rice with seasoned black beans with his salmon...both sides were dry without any moisture. The waitress graciously apologized and a Caesar salad was brought to replace the two sides. All in all, good, just not the first impression I hoped it would be. (The salmon was well prepared.
Based on local reviews, their website, and Facebook page presentations we thought Grill on the Hill was more on the upscale restaurant vs just being a golf course clubhouse. So we were very caught off guard when we arrived for our anniversary dinner reservation. The view on the deck is spectacular and the food that we had was good sadly they were out of several things that attracted us to the restaurant in the first place. Unfortunately, it was very short staffed and the hostess could use lots of additional training in cleaning (she was not diligent in bussing tables and several times kicked food off the floor under the tables vs sweeping it up) and customer engagement (we asked her several times to either get or tell our waitress something but she never did). The outdoor dining was really nice, but it was cool and they did not have the patio heaters out (which according to their site they have) nor did they have any lighting, so at 7:45 it was dark and hard to see. Lastly, the live music was too loud and you could not have a conversation or even hear the waitress. Several other customers commented on this as well. All in all, it was OK. I do not recommend Grill on the Hill for a special event dinner (like an anniversary or birthday), but it's a nice place to go for drinks, apps, and live music. We are interested in trying it again, just for a night out, now that we know what to expect.
