Country Cottage - Woodburn

The Monte Cristo is amazing! My fries were still hot and crisp! The fish and chips is always delicious as well!

I was there on Tuesday afternoon and had breakfast in the evening. pork, baked carrots, etc. the pork chop was so thin overcooked that it was hard to cut! it would have been difficult to cut a pork chop! cuts were cold. coffee was lukewarm. but the baked potato was warm and beautiful. have been here for years and have always found eating to be quite good. not this time! sad! the servierperson was attentive and did her job well.

Beautiful cozy little restaurant with a vintage style of vibe. the foods were hot fresh and cheap. a good view of the small golf course from the rear windows. the menu is huge, so they should be able to find something they want. it looks like they have a pretty good selection of specials during the week.

I would avoid it. we were excited after reading the reviews. but none of us finished their meal, the French dip and the high-picked chicken steak were probably the worst we ever had. I'm sorry, country house, we're driving the extra mile and going to cracker barrel.

Everything was so good, mashed potatoes were real, waitress was super awesome. The oysters were super fresh and the strawberry jelly was devine. I will be back.
