Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

The waiters were amazing the Food was great. We sat on the patio, i was presently suprised how comfy it was. I'll definitely be back. P.S, try the pork sirloin it was very tasty.

Patio is on west side of building in direct sun. High walls provides little breeze.Several tables were dirty with dirty dishes sitting waiting to be cleared.Appetizers were 1/3 off, as you can tell by picture, so was the volume of food on the calamari plate. Good flavor though. Nothing special. I would go again if there werent anywhere else to eat.

I've tried several different Symposium Cafés around the city, and I think I'm done with them.The decor tries to make it a more upscale dining experience, but I find that they are leaning on marketing a look rather than the quality of the food. I've gotten this feeling from all the locations I've been to. I think, of the lot, the best experience was the Aurora location, but there were still disappointments.At this location, they had a burger/sandwich special on Mondays - $5 for a burger or specific sandwich with the purchase of a beverage. This is not the special they imply. I had a burger with cheese

My partner and I had breakfast here this morning and the food was just okay. Waffles were very delicious, very cold which was unfortunate. Very interesting menu, loads to chose. I love desserts and they have a display case to see the different types of cakes and bars. I will definitely revisit to give this place a second chance, not sure my partner would revisit as he was disappointed with the food.

I don't think I have ever gone to a Symposium Cafe that I didn't like. I have always got decent service and the food has always been excellent. This location is pretty busy so if you are planning to sit and enjoy a quieter time it's best to go between 2 and 4. I like to go to enjoy a cappuccino and one if their amazing desserts and just chill on the comfy couch. I have also celebrated birthdays, and special events such as Mothers Day (you have to make reservations well in advance for Mothers Day). You won't go wrong. Oh yes, there is ample parking because it is a strip mall. You can enjoy walking off your meal afterwards shopping in the outlet stores that surround the Cafe. Go and enjoy.
