Bidrage med feedbackApr 26 2015 Boca Kitchen, Bar Market has welcomed Executive Chef Jake Brenchley to conduct culinary efforts for this farm-to-fork restaurant on Park Avenue. A French-trained chef, who prepared the New Year's Dinner for the James Beard Foundation in 2015, enters after a successful run with the Kessler Collection in Boca. Of course we were hoping to try Chef Brenchley's latest creations as well as some oysters and cocktails from sister restaurants Atlantic Beer and Oyster and Park Social. We started our evening at Boca to sipping an airy melon cocktail with local ingredients and a hint of sweetness. Everyone can make a handcrafted cocktail, but ingredients and care make a drink unforgettable. After a post-work drink we drove around the corner to ABO, a scenic oyster bar in winter park hidden garden, a whimsical courtyard behind the bustling Park Avenue. From recovered wood to special beer, within ABO you will be transported to a fisherman's throw – simply trendy and not so smelly. Of course, we were treated with oysters with a speciality of hot sauce. I could not awaken the courage to taste this coastal delicacy, but on the basis of the reactions of my companions I would recommend ABO to every oyster connoisseur. For the main course we went back to Boca for a four-course tasting menu from Chef Brenchley. From the Arctic Char to the wild boar, the menu was unlike any farm-to-fork experience we tasted! Here is what we tasted, experienced and enjoyed in Boca: Ricotta Gnudi: English peas, bacon jam, seven minutes egg, breakfast radish and Meyer lemon with ingredients from Lake Meadows and Long and Scott Farms. A creamy, melty, pasta-like dish filled with aromas and aromas that please all senses. Arctic Char: A cold water fish is only milder and slightly sweeter than its counterpart. Accompanied by carrots dashi, mirin healed beets, peas carrots and dill blossoms with various ingredients of Frog Song Organic Fa
Just excellent. This hole-in-the-wall jig has a big lock attack. Located in a blooming alley, my husband and I were immediately intrigued. The decor is very restoration hardware and the atmosphere is comfortable. The oysters were simple but delicious with a homemade hot sauce and fresh horseradish. My shrimps were great. Buttery and spicy dancing at the edge of overspiss, but not quite; a very adult taste. Good wine... good beer... fantastic food. This place is a must.
Big oysters!. First visit. We came with friends and had a really good time! ABO has a great selection of beers and the oysters were really fresh. They had 13 or 14 TVs showing all the great games and were more than happy to change our request to the game on the TV the closest to us. Definitely recommend checking out this place!
