Bidrage med feedbackI only had a couple of drinks on the balcony, so I won't be rating the food. The cocktails were good and reasonably priced (I recommend the Triangel cocktail), and the view is absolutely stunning. The service was friendly, but a bit slow, even though the place wasn't crowded. I’d give it an extra five stars because it’s definitely a must-visit! (at least for drinks)
Situated on the 4th floor of the Independence Museum, you can access the restaurant without having to visit the museum itself. The restaurant offers fantastic views of the city, a decent selection of wines, attentive customer service, and tasty Kapana, though it is a bit overpriced. If you’re in the mood for a cocktail, I recommend the gin and tonic; however, I would steer clear of the sour whisky cocktail because it had an overwhelming amount of lime.
Unexpected stunning views of Windhoek from all 3 corners of the museum building with good choice of the kitchen including the traditional cuisine of Namibia .. very friendly staff .
We had a good experience with the worms. Weird tô taste at once but good. And nice staff.
It was decent enough. We we're hungry after walking around windhoek and decided to go e this a try. The menu wasn't very descriptive of the dishes to tourists like us. And the waiter was unsure of the English words of many of the dishes, so we just ordered a random assortment of food. The lemon chicken breast was DELICIOUS. Some of the best chicken I've had all trip. The greens tasted as though they had sand in them? They were gritty and crunchy. Not sure what that was about. The beans were pretty good as a side dish, and the nuts were confusing. All in all worth a try. It seems pretty hit or miss on the dishes if you can't read the menu. But the chicken breast would be my go too Edit: and definitely go up there just for the view. It is spectacular!
