Bidrage med feedbackYou always get good food in a garden center, don't know why, but you can just. it was a Sunday afternoon and we just went by, our invitation to her parents had been agreed, so with the thought of a frying dinner I needed food, so here my wife and I plus our amazing little boy decided to stop. there was a good selection of food and the whole morning breakfast looked good, but I had to resist when a Sunday roast was set on the shiny, would not go very well down. we decided the toasties was the ideal bite to eat. I went with ham, cheese and tomato. my beautiful woman went with huh, speck and mayo. the ham was the type where they would spend a pretty penny in the metzgern, none of those thin wafer stuff that they pick up in super markets and it was absolutely beautiful. I forgot to let my wife bite, I didn't get a look at her huh, speck and mayo, so I would say that we both enjoy our own eating. to wash it, I had a mint tea and for a good measure we shared a piece of bread and butter pudding. again absolutely delicious. it was also nice to have a walk and see the plants and admire some of the super garden furniture.
One particularly memorable occasion was when Richard, the café manager, organized a spectacular birthday party for my 50th birthday, attended by 50 cyclists! It was by far the best birthday party I've ever had. He set up a special area with four large cakes and unlimited tea and coffee, and as we tackled the massive cakes, the amazing staff seamlessly kept producing more! The people here are genuinely lovely and kind, making each visit a delight. Plus, they bake incredible cakes!
I had a cooked breakfast at this café, and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had—cooked to perfection. I had also enjoyed a Sunday roast prepared by my mother earlier, and I can confidently say that you won’t go wrong with either choice. I always stop by this café because everything is superb!
I give the café section 5 stars. The central part of the garden is a bit uneven. The atmosphere is intriguing. However, I wasn't too impressed by the wooden block signs, which initially seemed whimsical but felt like something a child could have made, and the adult items felt overpriced. Overall, it’s a lovely place with excellent food.
