Mamma Lucia - Wilmington

Ate here on Christmas eve during holidays. Despite only one server, I can't complain. But the food was from the charts! It was delicious and massive portions, you better hungry when you go. The decor was kind of weird, but you can't deny how great the food is prepared and how delicious the marinara sauce was. I wish this place was near home. Great work.

Dinner with the family. Have the fried Calamari for a starter; crispy and tasty. For the main course, the Pollenlimone, Ravioli Trio and the spaghetti Bolognese got. The pollen limones and the ravioli were excellent. The spaghetti Bolognese taste was quite bland, somehow disappointing. The service was excellent. Completes the meal with desserts, almond cake, Tiramisu and Limoncello. All excellent.

Our waitress was attentive and friendly. She has consistently looked at whether we need anything. The owner came out and delivered a record personally. Our dinner was made especially by a free gift. The dishes are big, but delicious. Prices are reasonable for what you get and remember, there are terrible inflation right now.

Always look forward to eating here in town. Genuine Italian cuisine ready to order from an Italian cook. Do not expect a high-end designer interior. They did what they could with an old building and a shoe-running start-up budget. It has its own charm. It is clean and comfortable. Remember to order your meal will be freshly prepared, so don't go if you hurry to a show. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine while your meal is freshly prepared.

My experience here was truly lovely. The food was absolutely amazing, i got the spinach ravioli and I must say I definitely need to come back and try the other dishes on my next vacation to Wilmington. I ordered some canolis which were veryyy delicious. My friends were all satisfied with their food as well everyone pretty much finished their whole plate. My mom also told the waitress it was my birthday so they gave me a little something to take home with me ; I do recommend making a reservation prior to your visit. The owner is a very kind woman who made my vacation even more special. The experience was very heart-warming and overall wonderful.
