Bidrage med feedbackDistrict does a fantastic job serving some of the best tacos in Wichita. The food is always delicious and the wait staff is friendly, polite, and efficient. It's definitely one of my favorite spots in town. Great work, District!
The restaurant was a bit plain. They had a nice variety of draft and bottled Mexican beers and IPAs. We ordered the queso (which was a thick and possibly mayo-based), guacamole and salsa. The chips were good, likely homemade. The guacamole was tasty, but the salsa was just okay. I tried three tacos, all of which were mediocre. The meat was dry and the tacos were lukewarm. My companion ordered a bowl which was also dry. It was a chilly day outside and uncomfortably cold inside the restaurant, so we all kept our coats on during the meal.
Great food, tacos were amazing a little bit on the pricey side but they were so tasty. Chips and queso was also very good the queso is almost ?whipped? very different than any queso I?ve ever had before! Sat at the bar and service was very quick andfriendly!
The cheese sauce for the chips was not good at all. It was more like very thick cream cheese with no flavor. The crisp barbacoa tacos were flavorless with little meat in it. The 2 salsas included were ok..nothing special.
I came here with a friend to get drinks and eat. I thought honestly, I would only be able to have chips and salsa, but come to find out through a local vegan facebook page that I could order the kartoffel street tacos and the falafel street tacos! they are totally vegan and delicious. they are vegetarian on the menu. I think there is also a mushroom taco that is labeled vegetarian, but would be vegan if they left the aioli. I had these two street tacos and chips and salsa, and a margarita, and made full and happy. I even checked with the waitress that these tacos do not contain any milk products and she was happy to check. I just wish they were called vegan as vegetarian! I also think there could be more possibilities, even if they are only vegetarian.
