Bidrage med feedbackWe dined at this restaurant twice recently, at two different locations, and were somewhat disappointed. Firstly, the beer on tap tasted watered down, so we opted to buy beer in bottles instead. The food was also just average overall. Last night, we ordered steak, which was very strong in flavor and unpleasant. On our first visit, we had seafood that was either undercooked or overcooked. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant's recently renovated spacious room looks great, very clean and modern with a few TV screens to catch up on the morning news.
I decided to dine at this restaurant, and while it was pleasant, I don't think it was worth the money as it was a bit overpriced for the quality of food. Typically, I would expect to pay around $15 for a similar meal at a bistro, but here it was over $40. I usually don't mind paying more for good food, but this meal was disappointing. I have had better dining experiences in Ceduna, Streaky Bay, and Port Lincoln.
We stayed in the nearby quest apartments for a night so in the westlands hotel just a few hundred meters away. we were very pleasantly surprised – the personal was pleasant and attentive and the food was excellent. my wife had served a deer size. by calamari and was pleased that she, as it was surprisingly great and tasty – her accompanying Asian greens were huge and tasty my beef basket was amazing – the most tasty bark you could imagine and one of my better meal times for years. highly recommended. meals are not cheap but still worth money
My family ate at Vegas on the first night of our stay in Whyalla and all 6 of us were very impressed by the quality of the meals. So much so that we came back the next night! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and...the vego among us really enjoyed her stir-fry. The wait staff were super friendly too. Very happy with this restaurant!
