Cowgirl Coffee - WHITEFISH

Just now getting around to leaving this review from my first time getting lotus energy in September and now I’m addicted! Really cute little drive through coffee shop. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area. Picture of my drink for the aesthetically pleasing girlies!

I’ve lived around the corner from this coffee hut for 6 months and have spent hundreds of dollars at this location alone. Yet, the baristas have not once remembered my order, asked me how my day was, given a friendly smile, etc. They pretend as if they have never seen me before, and are often blank faced like they are bothered having to do their jobs. I have always tipped them, so I’m not sure what their damage is, but the customer service here is severely lacking. I am not the only one in the area with this opinion on the staff at this particular coffee hut. One of the girls here has such a pinched look on her face every time that I can barely look at her in the eyes, it’s very uncomfortable. The coffee is extremely subpar as well, the espresso is bitter as if it’s been burnt. I’m moving to a different area soon thankfully so I can start spending my money somewhere that actually cares about the people they are profiting from. The girls need a lesson in hospitality, and I’ll give you a hint that it doesn’t include a faked smile when giving the order total. Maybe at least remember a regular’s coffee order once or twice? Also, before the assumption is made that I am some guy with a hurt ego that the girls at the coffee stand aren’t friendly… I am a woman, with over 10 years of multi-industry management ranging from coffee shops to jewelry galleries to boutique hotel groups. I know this is small town Montana, but even the more opportunity to show a little bit of humanity and put in effort for the locals. Do better.

Cowgirl is a quintessential staple of this area. If you ask a local where you can get good coffee, this is the place and all their locations. Enjoy!

The staff were friendly and patient. The coffee was good. We were helped pretty quickly despite there being a couple cars ahead of us.
