Ruttenbucks Grill Dallas Pike

Rustic bar and grill specialized in bbq pulled pork, chicken and ribs. All usual options and a few surprises. Fresh food was cooked correctly with reasonable prices. Service was top notch! Conveniently located next to the lively TA travel center.

Ruttenbucks, a rustic Theke Bar and restaurant, near the Dallas Pike exit (exit 11) of Interstate 70, in West Virginia. Great, clean and well-lit atmosphere, with fair prices and great food. I had the 16 ounces of steak, potatoes baked with shrimp, Coleslaw and baby, as well as an order of Pierogis. My wife had the 10 ounces of steak with baby baked potatoes and cowboy beans. Everything was delicious, the steaks were tender, juicy and cooked only the way we ordered them, the potatoes were perfect, the beans were very tasty, and the perogies were for dying. The adult drinks we ordered were strong, tasty and very inexpensive. I had really expected to pay more than twice what they charged for my drink, and my wife was a little lower than expected. All in all we enjoyed our experience and plan to return soon. Oh, they also have a small game room with slot machines, but we didn't dare there. If you are hungry and through the wheeling area, you cannot go wrong with this device. Friendly, attentive staff, good food and fair prices. Look at it! You'll be glad you did it.

This was recommended as a place to eat. Not disappointed! BBQ was amazing! Loved that they Pierogies with BBQ, unique. Only what I would change was the BBQ overwhelmed with sauce. Next time I order it on the side.

Through the area and stopped at Ruttenbucks with a proposal from a relative. The night we stopped was karaoke night and went to a filled facility. It was very clean and we were great by friendly welcoming staff. The food was excellent, large portions and prices were cheap. The staff used a great service during our visit. Definitely recommend Ruttenbucks and is revisited.

Omg! Ok yall, I travel all over the country with my husband who's a trucker and this is by far the BEST BBQ we've had. It's even better than the multiple Texas bbq places we've been. We started with the pretzel bites with cheese sauce and it was so good! They were fresh and the cheese sauce actually had good flavor (this is a rarity more than you may think). Then we had the sampler platter with cowboy beans and Mac n cheese. They didn't over sauce the meats, that was by far the creamiest mac n cheese I've ever had, and who knew you could take several different kinds of beans and make them delicious!? The ribs were fall off the bone, the pulled pork was crazy salty and the chicken was so perfectly cooked it was literally melt in your mouth. We chose the corn bread over the rolls and they serve it with real butter and omg guys, my mamaw didn't make cornbread this good. We ended the meal with the brownie a la mode. As you can see, it's a huge home made brownie with a big ol scoop of ice cream and home made cool whip drizzled with chocolate syrup. The brownie was still hot in the center, the rim was crunchy but not rock solid while the center was almost lava like. It wasn't so sweet ya jaws hurt either. The waitress was sweet and on top of everything. My cup never went dry and that's awesome! I recommend everyone come here and try it! The atmosphere is great, the food is phenomenal and the staff is friendly. Come get some!
