MBCO - Westmount

I was one of their first customers in the morning so the counter person was also not fully awake--he didn't seem particularly friendly. The omelet was good and the latte was okay.

Nice take out food for a quick delicious bite. Always fresh, try the salmon sandwich, eggs sandwich or chicken quesadilla

Way too expensive for a regular tasting sandwitch! lol nice place good service! If you got money to trow away then this is for you!

I would have given this restaurant a very good rating because the chocolate praline croissant was out of this world! It was the best croissant I ever had. It was also the most expensive. I got ripped off by $10 when I went to MBCo so it soured me. I only had a short time in Montreal and I was in a hurry. I know I should have counted my change when I left. The money folded in the receipt. I needed to catch a bus so I had that on my mind.

A great spot for a quick bite. Try the salad with grilled vegetables. I had a grilled veggie sandwich on pumpernickel. Deliciously grilled. Food like you will find throughout Europe. The lattes are to die for. Skip the muffins. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and made superb pizzas and salads to meet our unusual requests. The place itself is now located on Stanley just north of St Catherine St. It is now called Moderne Bakerie and Co due to the collapse of the corporate MBCo. It is a small place with plenty of outdoor seating which is often taken by smokers
