Highly recommend the wine experience. I did their Macaron pairing. Really well priced and a beautiful establishment. Super friendly and helpful staff and the wine was absolutely fantastic.

The hospitality at Weltevreden Carnival is simply pathetic and rude. We phoned ahead, asked to make a booking at the Carnival (kids play area) side of the estate. They informed us that we cannot make a booking. First come, first served. So we asked if they were busy, they said not at all, we should not have an issue to find a space. Carnival Weltevreden Wine Estate, located in Cloetesville in the Stellenbosch Wine Routes Located under tall trees which provides ample shade, The Carnival kids entertainment area is such a gem, the area is separate from the wine tasting area and restaurant. A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation and lovely breakfast under the trees.

What a beautiful place! We had such an amazing time! A fun place for the kids to play and parents to relax.
