Chicken pot cakes and turkey sandwich were both tasty, salmon salad was good, but salmon was a bit over boiled (for medium rare and was prepared medium to medium hard). Server was attentive and cannot beat the ambience.
Great service, beautiful ambience classic New England. Stay away from the $36 Bouillabaisse. No soup broth. Flavor did not remember what these seafoods could not call it soup concoction. Think the cook needs a Bouillabaisse101 class.
I wish I could be more flattering about the food. My cocktail sounded like it would be good but was not well balanced. Their signature roast turkey dinner was great turkey but served dried out. The Brussels sprouts had been sautéed at such a high flame that the outsides were incinerated leaving the interiors raw and dried out. But the affogato cake for dessert was inspired and saved the meal. The service was excellent. For the money it simply wasn’t as good as it should have been. This doesn’t mean that I won’t give them another chance. The inn is celebrating its 250th anniversary which is awesome and the place should be supported.
Went here for my hubby’s birthday. The food was incredible, amazing price and great service.
