Carol's - West Sacramento

I just moved to West Sac from Downtown Sac and have always raved about the Cornerstone Restaurant in Sac for breakfast, not anymore…Carol’s beats them hands down, best omelete I ever had ! Yeah, you do wait but it’s because the place is PACKED….worth the wait, enjoy the coffee and conversation, the food is worth your time….

Porkeys Scrambler and the biscuit and gravy side were what breakfast should be. Lots of ingredients were in the scrambler, and a good amount of eggs, cheese and hash browns were given. My favorite part was the biscuit and gravy I chose as my bread accompaniment. It was a soft, fluffy, fresh biscuit and the gravy was a nice sauce texture instead of a floury paste. And they gave plenty of gravy to soak up with the biscuit. Awesome breakfast

The Chicken Clubhouse had marinated and flavorful chicken that was delicious making for a perfect club sandwich(I usually get the Turkey Clubhouse which is delicious as well) The ranch dressing to dip is a must. A hearty sandwich and portions at Carols havent changed over the years. Triple decker sandwich with your choice of a side for a price you cant beat. All this deliciousness while supporting local.

Every single thing we had is delicious. Literally the best breakfast and pie eve. Totally reasonably priced. I dint even want to leave this review because then everyone is going to swarm my spot.

Returning customer. Pancakes were excellent. Big and fluffy. A nice slice of Apple Pie unlike other sliver slices at unnamed sites. The sausage links were good and the juice went down well with the meal.
