Proper Grit - West Palm Beach

Overall good breakfast/brunch. The smoked salmon platter was my favorite item we ordered over the weekend. Since we stayed at The Ben we had brunch here a few times. Servers were friendly but would disappear for a while. On two occasions I needed a server and they took quite a while to return. My husband said the pancakes and French toast (not pictured) were very average. The breakfast potatoes had little flavor but the omelette was tasty. Finally, the truffle croissantsandwich was quite good.

I took my friend her for her birthday lunch. We ordered our food with family style in mind (we ordered a few dishes and shared) it's a great way to try more dishes. We loved all of the dishes we choose. This restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Our waiter was amazing. They bring you your check in a book which is a cute touch.

Very good place to eat at The Ben. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of different food options and a very well stocked Bar. One very interesting item on that appetizer menu is Hanging Bacon ???? dripping over top of Cornbread. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our evening together. Definitely recommend checking this place out for Breakfast or dinner.
