Wardeez cafe and bistro

The staff were great very attentive but not intrusive. We had a fillet steak and pork roast with crackling. Both were cooked beautifully and we were served promptly; not bad as it was a very busy evening. When all things are considered this is an average Joe's Pub, not The Black Cow, or The Gorge which we have paid considerably more for. But you have to ask yourself what you paying for in those restaurants. Pomp and ceremony and flashy plate ups. Also to be considered is the fact you are supporting the extravagant lifestyle of the owner's too. But if you prefer a nice pub meal in plain but comfortable and warm surroundings then this may be the place for you to eat. We'll eat it there again definitely :

Really great Bistro style menu. Almost all was gluten free including garlic bread and cooked desserts. Also lots of Dari free, including ice cream in dessert. Excellent value. Very happy to come again

The tempura mushrooms are so good! Good menu and good value for money. The staff are friendly but extremely busy so I would recommend sending someone to the bar for everyone’s drinks as soon as you walk in. It has a good atmosphere and always seems busy so I’d recommend calling to book.

I love this place. Nice ambiance, good menu with excellent pricing. Super friendly and efficient service. Food is well cooked and presented. Absolutely Brilliant and highly recommended. I had beef and reef and wife had crumbed snapper. Both delicious. We even had some of their great value desserts. Berry Strudel and banana split... both very moorish.

Had never been here before, we were a group of 7 ladies on way to a Fashion Parade/Fund Raiser and decided to call in for Lunch. So glad we did. Great Chef and Service food excellent. We will be returning at a later date.
