The Good Catch - West Lancashire

Very generous portion of chips, good fish also. Nice clean shop as well. We thought it was good value.

OMG! The worst chips I have ever tasted. Apart from the 2 or 3 chips I ate, the rest went in the bin. God knows what type of oil the cook them in but it's disgusting. Don't waste your money.

Lived locally for many years but avoided the place on past experience for a long time (no need for details). Passing recently and saw a guy with his chippy meal which looked lovely and the waft of chips lured me in for a quick lunch. Pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and quality of my food. After so many years definitely back on my list

This was the first visit to this chippy as I’m not from the area. The fish was fantastic but the rest of the meal was awful. The chips were burnt and mainly scraps and the rice wasn’t even cooked properly. It was such a disappointment. The curry sauce was a let down and should be called sweet corn sauce :

This place used to be so good years back we always used to buy from here.They have changed the chips they don't taste the same we hardly come here now it is a shame.
