The Tap - West Lafayette

So me and my friends came here tonight for a little farewell party since some of our friends just graduated and will be leaving Purdue. The waiter here literally knows nothing about serving people and he surely knows little about the menu. He wouldn?t clean the table for us to start off so another waiter cleaned the table for us. Then we asked for tissues since the desk is a little wet and he gave 2 pieces of tissue for a table of 7. Some of us wanted more time to order so he

A place this size can only hold so many, so you sacrifice having a lot of servers to help which makes service a little slow. The server we had was attentive sweet, just clearly overworked. Otherwise, this place was great! , despite being short staffed, the employees were constantly working hard. Chill place, well priced drinks, good food. I was surprised satisfied! The fries are to die for ???? The wings chicken tacos were super good, too!

Food and drinks are generally good and the atmosphere is nice. It is pricey and drafty in the winter, though. Tap Fries specifically are really good. Totchos are disappointing. Also really glad to see cocktails added to the menu!

I was pleasantly surprised by this little bar near campus. You typically trade quality for location with these places close to campus, but this one is not the case. They have a great selection of drinks and the food is actually rather fancy for a bar. The only thing to look out for is the slow service. Don't come here if you're in a hurry.

My experience here was right in the middle. Our service was mediocre, but our server was definitely trying her hardest and we can always appreciate that! She forgot a few food items and our drinks also took a while. The staff was very friendly on the bright side! I would still recommend this place to others.
