Simply excellent. I'm worried that these types of Japanese restaurants are fading. This place totally reminds me of what Nippon used to be in Toluca Lake. High level of craft is what you need when the dish only has two components. The best part, no kewpie with siracha anywhere ;
One of my favorite WeHo sushi restaurants. I would not say this is the best sushi in LA, but the sushi and sashimi are always well prepared and more Japanese oriented than many other places offering sushi in the area. Sure they have a California roll and a few other common rolls but you are better served eating nigiri style here.
Wow! Finally found an amazing sushi spot in LA. I really like sushi Fumi, but it’s somewhat inauthentic and lots of sauces on their sushi. Jinpachi is the first sushi restaurant that I throughly enjoyed in LA for its simplicity and flavor. I go to sushi in San Diego a lot (which has the best sushi in the country). This place reminds me of Hane Sushi from San Diego. The seaweed used for the handrolls are really crunchy and nice. The Spicy tuna crispy rice was fantastic. I had a bunch of different nigiris (no rolls). If you enjoy traditional style sushi, then this is a great option; especially in Los Angeles (which lacks authentic, fresh, good sushi).
Delicious sushi and some of the best tofu I've ever had.
