HIX Oyster and Fish House - West Dorset

Expected high quality food, the crispy shrimps were a really unpleasant texture and overpriced. Fish and chips were fine, but some of the chips were not properly cooked. It just found it really expensive for an average meal, really disappointing how we are real foods and had traveled specifically for it.

Absolutely delicious food with great service! We had a window seat with the most incredible view. The staff was attentive and well informed and the food was delicious, would highly recommend!!

Fantastic restaurant, with fine food to meet the amazing view. The Oyster and the fish plate are highly recommended. All employees were friendly and offered the best in customer service. Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough.

Very few non fish options steak main course for nonfish Water was average. Wine list not enough variety. Arrived early seated downstairs fine but very untidy and very much an after thought. Too expensive does not compare to London equivalents restaurants when charging London prices.
