Taj Mahal - Welwyn Hatfield

Disappointing. It felt a bit stark when we walked in; a bit canteen like. It was so echoey. The tables and menus felt sticky/dirty. The starters were really small and having to keep my used cutlery for the main was just not right: why take the side plates? Am I really supposed to place them back on the table?? The drinks were very expensive, is this due to not having a liquor licence? The food was ok, but the takeaways I've had from here have tasted better, which I don't understand.

Ordered a delivery via the website. It is super easy to use. Food is still really good. This is a good solid Indian restaurant. Good flavours, lots of choice, website easy to use. The restaurant is BYO, so just be aware if you want alcohol. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options as you would expect Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner
