The Dorset Arms Pub - Wealden

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were attentive. The food was generally well received, although I personally did not enjoy the Bavette steak. There were long delays in receiving the different courses, especially the ice cream scoop desserts.

This pub is a fantastic choice if you find yourself near the border of East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, and Surrey. The interior is charming and the service is very welcoming. The majority of the food is sourced locally, and my wife and I both loved the perfectly cooked grouse. The wine selection is well-curated and offers options for all budgets, and the local Harvey's beer was excellent.

Booking the table was simple, reception was polite and efficient, food was excellent, Staff very efficient, polite and attentive, made us feel welcome. Shall definitely come again.

Very poor selection of roast dinners only beef why on a sunday there is not more choice, in the end we decided on beef burger, how you can charge £21 for that oven chips, handful on leafs, a brought in bun and a burger that i would like to think you made but most likely you brought in as well.
