Frogs Leap Public House - Waynesville

I've eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world, and this is one of my favorites. I'd rather go here than 11 Madison.

Seriously, hands down my favorite restaurant. My husband and I live just north of Orlando in Florida but have a vacation rental in Maggie and have made a point to come here every time we've visited (this time we were here for two weeks and came twice! Everything we've ordered has been absolutely amazing. From the devils on horseback and pork belly apps to the scallops, pork chops, and short ribs. Nothing has disappointed. These last two visits, Melissa was our waitress and she is seriously the sweetest. Her attention to detail and friendliness made us feel at home. We also brought a friend who has both gluten and dairy sensitivity and Melissa spoke to the chef who kindly accommodated her needs and crafted a delicious dish to fit her restrictions. Our friend and her husband are from New Jersey (and previously Manhattan and have yet to visit a restaurant more accommodating than Frogs Leap! A first class experience in a comfortable environment, I recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area. It really is a treat that we look forward to every time we're up in Maggie/Waynesville. The server was so professional and knowledgeable about the menu. the service was very fast, the decor was welcoming and comfortable, and eating! the food was so good. you could say on the first bit that the cook enjoyed making every dish. will definitely return.

After three years of living here, we finally discovered this jewel. several friends recommended it very, so that we were in the position, away for a quiet evening meal. tristan was an amazing server and bartender. eating was excellent, both the small teller and the main courses. also the weinparings were perfect. we are pleased that we have found frog’s leap and will definitely be back.
