Blue Lagoon Cafe - Waxhaw

Got a burger and cheesesteak from the food truck at waxhaw tap house and the burger might’ve been the worst ever. Not even worth $2 and very disappointed after waiting 45 minutes, won’t but again.

I was super excited to try a new place. I’ve lived near Waxhaw for close to a year now, and was surprised to see restaurants which do not often come up when searching for food in reviews. I ordered chicken wings, fried mushrooms, and onion rings. The food was okay. Service was good. I will not be going back.

Happen to randomly find this hidden gem while searching for something to eat in downtown Waxhaw. The food was amazing and such generous portions. The cook came up to us and asked us how the food was, now that’s a great chef. I can’t wait to try their wings!! The environment is so cool too with the live band playing. Definitely try them out and bring friends bc it’s a fun place to have a good chill time!

Tired their amazing burger and fries, wish I had the belly to try their other offerings. I will definitely be back. want to try their funnel cake next time!
