Southern Cross - Watford

Start of by saying the staff were brilliant the pub and food were also good, but the room!! No heating, No hot water and the room is in need of repairs!! Paid £81 for one night and feel ripped-off. Wont be back until rooms have a makeover, shocked as we have never had a problem with Greenking pubs before.

Southern Cross Bar is a gem for crafted beers and steaks. The food is amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly. A perfect blend of flavors and hospitality. If you're a fan of quality brews and delicious steaks, this is the place to be!

Visiting from Devon, stayed in Watford came here Friday evening and had an amazing meal! Came back Monday morning for breakfast before the long trip home and again perfect! Place is clean and very comfortable! Amazing staff and such a chilled atmosphere

I have been travelling down from Lancaster in the North West of England on a regular basis and had discovered the Southern Cross about 3/4 weeks ago. Since finding it I have been there four times, in the last three weeks. I cannot fault this place at all. The place is a little gem of a find. The staff are wonderful from the Manager to all of the bar staff and kitchen staff. It is also a credit to the cleaners because its spotlessly clean. The food is without question as good as any restaurant but at a fraction of the price. Really great Pub . I wish I lived in Watford. Five stars because there is no way on Trip Advisor to give it Six!
