Abe Erb - Waterloo

Eight of us decided to dine at this restaurant tonight before heading to a concert. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that it was not the right choice for us. Despite this, we decided to proceed. After waiting for an hour, we finally received our drinks and waited a bit more for our appetizers, which were delicious. However, our main courses were disappointing. Three of us ordered the same dish, which turned out to be subpar. In hindsight, we should have sent it back and ordered something else, but we felt bad due to the waitress being overworked. We ended up spending two hours there and had to leave because the service was extremely slow. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the food to the waitress, who apologized sincerely. Nevertheless, it was disheartening to have paid so much for food that we did not enjoy. We have decided that we will not be returning to this restaurant again.

If you find yourself in Uptown Waterloo, this restaurant is a great choice for high-quality dining. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The "blattpfanne nachos" are loaded with cheese. The baked mac and cheese is creamy and served piping hot. The chicken avocado club sandwich is always a reliable option, packed with flavor.

I found a live music venue in the KW region online and saw that Dan White was advertised as playing there. After liking his music on Google, I decided to go check it out. However, when I arrived, there was no live music. I later found out through a quick search on Dan's website that he had actually been in another city the night before. It seems that false information was appearing in Google searches for live music in KW. Despite this, I found the website for Abe Erb BrewPub to be legitimate. I suggest the managers of the venue monitor their online presence to ensure accurate information is being shared. Despite the lack of live music, we still had a great experience with delicious food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. However, we had driven from Cambridge specifically for the live music so hopefully, the venue can improve their web presence in the future. Cheers!

Enjoyed eating, service and the beer here last Friday. we ordered the chicken avocado club, fish chips and schnitzel. the meals were delicious, the portions were quite large and the service was excellent. although the pub was full, our server took the time to make suggestions and rehearse for our bier choices. free time (the black beer) mates nicely with the carving! we'll be back soon!

Dec 28 evening dinner with another couple to discuss next vacation spot together. Perfect evening great food perfect service only downer was the ale and onion soup was not served that night. Caesar salad all around beer and a Thai Ginger cider that was lovely..., three fish and chips with one request for a non battered fish that was handled and avocado burger.... all tasty hot and well presented... Oh and Antigua here we come !!!
