Oohh's Aahh's - Washington, D.C.

I brought a group of 15 people for brunch. Amazing waiter his name was Mike. He was such a joy and was so cheerful, and really made sure that we had everything that we needed from beginning to end. He did a great job suggesting food for everyone to try ifyou were new here. We all enjoyed our food everything was flavored perfectly and cooked to perfection. He even made sure we hada huge plate of cornbread even though it wasn?t necessarily on the brunch menu. I got the catfish meal with greens and macaroniand cheese. The macaroni and cheese was super flavorful and creamy. I really love how they use so many cheeses. The greens weresuper flavorful they also had a pink sweet combine with the cornbread it?s a match made in heaven. I?m excited for dessert Ilook forward to eating the peach cobbler.

Went to dinner with a friend. The place isn?t that big, but it was mainly empty so we got a table pretty quick. Our waitress was nice. I got the veggie plate with stuffing, greens, Mac and cheese, yellow rice with gravy, and cornbread. The only thing Ienjoyed was the yellow rice and gravy and the Mac and cheese. The greens and the cornbread had entirely too much sugar. Thestuffing?eh. My friend?s food, catfish and grist with a side of lemon pepper wings, was really good though. If I ever go back,I?m getting the catfish and sweet tea!

It was my first visit and they were serving brunch. I ordered shrimp and grits and it was sooo delicious! My mother ordered salmon cakes and loved them. Our server, Michael, was fantastic. Very nice atmosphere. We even ordered extra food to go. Ihighly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back.

Great food and friendly service! My family came to the area for a visit and my sister found them on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. They did not disappoint. We all ordered something different and share bites. Everything I put in my mouth was delicious. Ienjoyed my fried chicken but the catfish was the family fave. Banana pudding for dessert was also tasty

My daughter suggested this establishment and it didn't disappoint. My husband and I had Shrimp and Grits. His grilled and mine blackened. Full of flavor and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. My daughter had Chicken and Waffles with Grits, Mac andCheese and Collard Greens. She thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We ordered the Chicken Wings as an appetizer and they were alsoflavorful to the bone. We felt welcome from the moment we walked into the door and the service was fast and friendly I woulddefinitely recommend this restaurant. My family and I plan to return.
