Stopped in on a sunday night we were the first customers so the hostess/manager showed us around the whole restaurant before we chose to sit in the bar. It was already dark but you can tell that the views in summer will be stunning. Great deck off the bar area which will be great for afternoon/evening drinks or for small private parties. The food was amazing we got the buffalo chicken dip (excellent creamy, warm, just spicy enough and a very generous serving for the price) and the beetroot hummus (not to my personal taste but still very tasty I love that they're catering to veggos/vegans too). My friend had the Halibut which was really excellent (according to her I don't eat fish so I didn't try it) and I got a steak special with the cherry pepper BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes also excellent. Both of us had to take leftovers. Our bartender Ben was fun and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend you give them a shot in the quiet months over winter I suspect that you'll be waiting a long time for a table come summertime!
The Harbor Table nailed it for us tonight. The drinks with the smoky old fashioned was a fun experience. But just a great location to have this bar back on the Marina. Tuna was perfect, well presented but classic flavors really hit the mark. Clam chowder was super hot and perfect, again classic. Prime rib was an excellent cut served precisely and expected and not to be redundant to classic. The pop over is something historic and dear to me and it also was just spot on and correct but cold, oh what I would do for hot pop overs! I'll come it whatever time you make em just for that if they are hot! And I need a dollop of butter to shake inside them, we are talking memories from when i was 5 from Bobbies in The Park White Bear Lake.... But seriously perfect pub food on the water!
Nice supper club feel on the lake. Convenient being next to hotel. They listed 10,12 and 16 oz. Prime rib. They didn't have the 12 oz. Not sure how that happens if cut to order. Prime was good, but a bit on tougher side. A bit pricey for being in a small out of the way town. I'd give them another chance. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Good seasonal drinks. Food was good quality- the filet Mignon was a gorgeous thick cut-the popovers and prime rib were well done. Unfortunately the one thing that fell short was the dinner roll- hard, dry and cold. But certainly not the highlight of the meal yet at these prices I would expect some nice table bread. Mixture of the flavors sweet and salty pork and apple dish was sublime. Service was delightful and attentive. Atmosphere was fine- still felt wide open and less quaint feeling. But overall nice enough vibe.
