Ninety Nine - Wallingford

I've only had the pleasure of visiting once, which was for my 50th birthday celebration this year. The food and service was great. We experienced a slight problem with an employee but the manager corrected it immediately. The portions are filling. I would revisit again.

Hard to find places like this. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great variety and most importantly, fantastic food! I haven't lived in this area for too long but long enough to know some of the local favorites. 99 definitely falls into that category. Usually I pick and buy what I'm familiar with, as to avoid disappointment due to myself being horribly picky. However, very rarely, I'll come across a restaurant that supercedes expectation. Which can lead me to feel that I'm in a comfortable enough position to open myself to a much broader selection, knowing there's very little chance of being let down. I've been to this restaurant a couple times now and have tried various dishes and desserts and I can honestly say that I haven't come across any distasteful visits. It's a rather pleasant surprise for sure. At the moment my favorite are the steak tips. By far best steak I've had in the area, and I'm sure most will agree. 10/10

The place has been remodeled since the last time I was there which was years ago. Good food and the staff is nice.

Sat at bar so we didn't have to wait for seat. Steak my sister got and her whole meal was great. My meal was not as good as last time I got it this the 4 star review instead of 5. Got Mediterranean bowl which really tasted great a few weeks ago but was lacking in flavor and not as moist as last time. Rather disappointed cause I love 99 restaurant. I've never been disappointed this much since I first started going there years ago

Ate there on St Paddy’s Day with hubby. He had the corned beef dinner and was very happy, I had a salad with chicken, also very good. Our server was very nice, friendly and attentive. We don’t go out to eat too much, well because *people* but this was a nice experience and would come back. One thing I would suggest, after wiping down a table, please dry it, not pleasant to have to dry it myself.
