George’s Restaurant Bar Catering

This visit was our first and won’t be the last! Everything we ordered was delicious, perfectly cooked. I rarely write reviews but George’s is just THAT good!

Food was excellent chicken fried steak! Nothing healthy about it, but southern for sure.

Fantastic in every way. Definitely will be enjoying George’s the next four years while my son is at Baylor.

Spi small for accommodating a large (over 15) group even though a room was reserved. Guest where crammed around tables suited for a smaller number of guests per table; very uncomfortable. The food presentation was not appealing/appetizing when served; meat items looked overcooked. Guests in my group had mixed reviews on how well seasoned the food tasted; if food items were over/under cooked; or if food items were moist or not. I can't speak about the price because the bill was paid by others from my group. As one of 25 persons in my group, I would not dine at this restaurant again even though the servers were great managing/at being responsive to my group size. Parking: This restaurant is popular for some reason so the parking lot gets crowded with people who don't park well. Thus making a challenge to maneuver out of the lot in some cases.

Thursday afternoon in the summer, so not overly busy. Had a great server, she was super friendly and very efficient, willing to provide her ideas to us visiting from out of town. Food was okay. My order seemed to be room temperature while my girlfriend's was still too hot to eat, so it wasn't super consistent. Excellent price at a time when everyone is paying more for everything.
