Simple Eats - Virginia Beach

No handicap bathroom. Walker doesn't fit thru the door.

My husband and I were on a weekend trip and our Airbnb host suggested this jewel. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the ingredients and the excellent service. I had a delicious butternut quash soup and my husband got a tomato basil and both were tasty! My chicken salad was amazing and my husband said he was the best burger he tried to compare it with his favorite place he had at home. We know where we're coming back for the next time. Very recommended!

Very good sense of location. The interior feels very Virginia Beach. Local: to feel at home; Tourists: come to experience the Virginia coast. We came here to tariff the promise of quality of the local farm to table and we found it. Good, solid, crunchy food with an oceanic atmosphere. The garden Omelet was tasteful and beautifully cooked. It was so generous in the part, that's as far as I got. My friend gave her Crabby Patty on a delicious fresh Brioche beer.

A friend and I decided to burn here last Sunday and it was really a treat. The service was excellent and the food was exquisite. The shrimps and grits were immaculate and the quality of their food matched. They can say that many of their ingredients are produced locally by the taste. Sandy the owner made a personal impression and I will definitely be back! Even if you want to feel special and be showered with compliments, Jeremy is your husband. If you are looking for a casual bistro set with excellent cuisine, give this place a chance. It won't disappoint!

I like this place. Simple Eats is exactly as the name on the front reads but I think it should read, Simple Good Eats. The food here is good, it's fresh, the service is fantastic, and visually, this joint is just a happy place. You get two choices of seating here....outside or in. Due to Covid, we chose outside. Be mindful, it's nothing to do with the restaurant but with the outside, you get the flies, and this time there was a lot of them. Our server was awesome. Super polite, and very attentive. We ordered the cheese board, and for the price, we got more cheese then I could even handle. I would order that board again when I take friends/family there. It's a good amount to munch on. I also ordered the Crab Benedict, or what they call, the Crab Benny. I thought it was good. A sizeable portion at a great price. Overall, I would eat here again. It's a colorful, just happy place. Well done.
