Kahiau's Bakery Cafe - Virginia Beach

The staff was nice, but at best it was moderate. ordered the biscuits and gravy that were good, but contains some spices I could not like. the breakfast burrito bowl was good, but very heavy and not many points at all. the brownie had a strange aftertaste and I got a few sandy pieces of something, but was a good brownie. the meal was very average. updated by previous review on 2022-07-16

First all this place is sweet, as the hell looks very inconceivable from the outside, but inside is very sweet and rustic! vicki and their coworkers are so warm and welcoming that she had such good advice to give about the opposite. but the food that said it was impressing, they lied. I am a picky eating and have sensory problems, so textures are hard for me. biscuits and gravey yummy was the lunchtime, but they were not busy so that I was still breakfast homemade skybeing tea that was not too sweet at all. scramble was vickis own recipe super delicious dead were also great. but the shortbread omg the shortbread! lemon lavender was so delicious I wish I ordered more. please go and check them

I tried the waffel wurstei and cheese sandwich, all bagel wurstei and cheese, and the smores cupcake. the egg and the sausage are both made in the house and they are both incredibly delicious and great textures. I liked the Bagel sandwich more, but I think that's just personal preference. the waffel was really good on itself, but I just didn't love it as a sandwich. the cupcake was very tasty, like the tickets that come as a side. the customer service was excellent. I wish I had lived near, that would be a normal place for me.

I want to eat to die. everything vegan and everything is so delicious. Sweet and local vibes. the personal is incredibly friendly.

This bakery and café is amazing! From their pastries to their burgers to their sides, you cannot go wrong. The owner and the staff are some of the most generous and amazing humans as well. I highly recommend checking this place out
